UNR Mascot Wolfie Jr. goes "Over the Edge" for Charity

RENO, Nev. -- UNR mascot Wolfie Jr. has another achievement to add to his resume: rappelling from the roof of the Grand Sierra Resort!

Wolfie Jr. went "Over the Edge" Saturday to raise money for the Special Olympics. Anyone who raised a thousand dollars got to rappel from the 27th floor of the resort.

KOLO 8 News Now anchor Ky Plaskon went "Over the Edge" on Friday. And KOLO 8 News Now Chief Meteorologist Chris Larson and his wife shot video of Wolfie Jr. taking the plunge Saturday afternoon.

Last year this same event brought in $63 thousand for charity.
