I happen to know the specifics of this accident and there were no cell phones involved. Only a pedestrian crossing where there wasn't a crosswalk or adequate lighting and dressed entirely in black. Sad for all involved. Hopefully he will pull through.

Of course, I pray for the victim to recover and everything, but I have to wonder if a cell phone was involved in any way. The driver or pedestrian. It isn't always alcohol, or drugs. Please be kind and keep your eyes and mind focused on the roads everyone! Driver's and Pedestrians.
