Police Investigate Possible Road Rage in Stead

RENO, NV - Reno police are investigating a possible case of road rage in Stead.

When officers responded to reports of a shooting on Lear Boulevard Monday afternoon, they found shots had been fired, but no one was hit.

They say a family was headed home and was threatened by someone in another car, who followed the family home into Stead. A neighbor walked outside and for some reason also felt threatened, and fired a shotgun into the air. The person who allegedly instigated the road rage drove off, and police are looking for that person.

They set up a perimeter for a short time, but have determined there is no threat in the neighborhood.
