After rescuing a puppy on 267, literally from a coyotes mouth, i can say there is such an emotional bond between an animal and their rescuer...there is nothing like that bond! I have always supported rescuing animals in shelters, but honestly I never have actually felt that unconditional love from an animal that yearned for true love! She is my shining star and reminds me everyday how precious life is....please donate to local "no kill" shelters if you can...anything helps...toys, beds, treats, food and other "comforting" things to all animals!

I strongly urge people to adopt shelter dogs in lieu of breeder or pet store dogs. They are just as wonderful and will repay you their whole lives for saving them. Rocky here is just another great example of this.

This is a wonderful and heartfelt story I wish more people would give these dogs a chance.
