Victim in December Beating Dies

RENO, NV - A man found severely beaten in December has died.

Felix Balderas was found on East Grove Street in Reno, lying in the middle of the street. His injuries were first thought to be minor, but his health deteriorated over the following months, to the point where he was on life support. He died Wednesday.

While he was being treated, Joshua Williams and Nancy Williams were arrested and charged with battery causing substantial harm.

The beating is still being investigated, and Reno police are working with the coroner's office and district attorney to determine the cause of death and whether new charges will be filed.
