Seems to me that back in the old days when children were "abused" a little more regularly, that they grew up to be fine, hard working adults. Now all the adults are whinny losers.

I don't care if others think it is funny. THIS IS NOT acceptable behavior from any one person!!!! This is a form of child abuse. If the school board puts her back in the job, then they are condoning child abuse. As for the children who mouth off and show disrespect that is the fault of the parents. This sort of practice is a result of telling God that we don't need Him. Removing Him from our schools is proving to be a large mistake. More and more of this behavior from children and adults will happen a lot.

I think this funny - shouldn't be an issue. I believe I can say this because I am fairly young and would have found it to be funny while in high school.

You make a fair assesment wil, but this "cone of shame" is ridiculous and I wonder, why in the world the teacher would think this would be okay.

the children today get NO correction for being disrespectful mouthy little brats that their own parents dont even want to do deal with they should be beaten into submission early like the government will finish when their older. the collar becomes cuffs and shakles but dont hurt their feelings or they'll cry.
