Send Traffic Moving on I-80 Following Multi-Car Accident

RENO, NV - Traffic on Interstate 80 eastbound near Wells Avenue is moving again.

That's after an accident involving as many as six cars. At least five people have minor injuries. It happened around 10:01 Friday morning.

The Nevada Highway Patrol says one driver slammed on the brakes for some reason, leading to a chain reaction with several drivers hitting the drivers in front of them. There's no word yet about whether anyone will be charged with following too closely, though troopers are urging drivers to keep safe distances from the cars in front of them.
