RENO, NV - Car fire in Pleasant Valley delayed traffic on US 395.

Troopers from the Nevada Highway Patrol, along with deputies from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office and fire personnel from the Reno Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on US 395 near Pleasant Valley Drive around noon today.

The fire was confined to the engine compartment of the sedan and no one sustained injuries.

The right southbound lane was temporarily closed for about 30 minutes while responders secured the scene and to make certain the fire was not a threat to any adjoining property.
