RENO, NV - We have a winter storm warning at the crest and a winter weather advisory for the Tahoe basin. Reno has no watch, warning or advisory but we do have good chances for snow off and on through the day.

Most valley floor locations will see warm enough temperatures to melt the snow as it hits the ground. In the foothills we will see one to three inches of snow.

The heaviest wet weather is done by the late afternoon, but chances for isolated snow showers will continue in Reno until early Saturday morning.
