U.S. postal inspectors are cracking down on synthetic drug shipments in Minnesota, western Wisconsin and seized more than two dozen shipments from South Carolina, Texas and Nevada according to The Star Tribune.
It is a new move in response to states that have recently passed laws that ban certain chemicals found in synthetic marijuana and stimulants.
An early target of the law appears to be a Hoffman man who received shipments of synthetic drugs, some of which came from WTF Herbals, of Houston, Texas. A spokesman for the company, Justin Patterson, said Sunday he believed his products were legal in every state. Patterson says he's recalling all shipments to Minnesota and will make no further sales in the state.
