RENO, NV - A National Guardsman on his way to Afghanistan is looking for his Jeep, which was stolen sometime overnight.
The guardsman who doesn't want to be identified will ship out of Reno next week, but he shares his Jeep with his girlfriend.
It was stolen sometime before 2AM Tuesday from their home on Brinkby in Reno.
It's a green 1992 Wrangler 4x4 with a soft top. The Nevada license plate is 240XDZ. There are Red Sox stickers scattered on it, and there is some of his military gear in it.
Please call Reno police if you can help find it.

Actually, Tigger, it appears the guy from Fernley was saying "Friendly" in his spelling of Fernley. Kind of like a "pun". Frenley Hospitality....see? He also said in his earlier posting that he supported this veteran because he was in a bind. Tough crowd here, I guess. Maybe you fellows should get together for a beer or two....like o'bumma did.

Bill thank you so much for your postings. Thank you for your support. My daughter is the Guardsman's girlfriend, he is devastated, he worked so hard for that Jeep and it was paid off. Not what he needed before leaving.

Hey Anthony I thought it was Fernley not Frenley. Go blow!
