PLACERVILLE, Calif. (AP) - A defense lawyer says allowing the "tale of terror" Jaycee Lee Dugard told a grand jury about being held captive for 18 years to become public before a trial would make it impossible to find an impartial jury.
Stephen Tapson is representing Nancy Garrido, who along with her husband, is charged with Dugard's 1991 kidnapping near her South Lake Tahoe home.
In a filing objecting to news media requests to unseal the grand jury testimony, Tapson says he has "examined hundreds of transcripts," but has never encountered one "that describes evil as is contained in the grand jury transcript for People v. Garrido."
Outside court Thursday, Tapson said he thought it would be difficult to find enough jurors for the trial anywhere in California, given the amount of publicity the case has generated.

Well the answer to this case is simple,if they cant find enough jurors then skip the trial n hang them once and for all. We dont need people like that.
Why should anyone give a damm about this creep and his wife. Execute them asap. And let this child get some peace.
