SOUH LAKE TAHOE -- Many people have been following Jaycee's ordeal since day one. That's especially true in South Lake Tahoe.
People who spoke with KOLO had emotional reactions to seeing parts of Jaycee's interview. They were frustrated over what Jaycee endured, but hopeful for her moving forward.
Larry Bastanchury said: "It shouldn't have happened in the first place, how a man can capture a girl and imprison her."
"I really hope she gets the support she need so she can have a good, good life," Gail Grove said.
Don Miller said: "At least they're together and they're not mad at each other you think somebody might be upset, why didn't you come find me?"
People also said the interview showed Jaycee's strength.
