Thousands of pounds of illegal fireworks taken at ag stations

More than 1882 pounds of illegal fireworks were confiscated in June from the Truckee agriculture station, according to CalFire.


A missing tool could be dangerous in an unexpected way to somebody not familiar with how it works.


The cause has not been determined.



Vegetation in western Nevada and eastern California is significantly more then we have seen in previous years because of the wet winter and spring. Warmer-than-average temperatures have increased the rate of vegetation dry-out.
