Win $1,000 for Your Class’s Eco-Project!

Does your class want to study wind power, wetlands conservation or clean air? Here’s a chance for you to win $1,000 towards funding a “green” project in your K-12 class. Sign up here and give a brief description of your proposal. A panel of eco-experts will look at them all and award $1,000 to the most original and deserving project.

Contest Rules

Any elementary, middle, and high school class (K-12) within the KOLO-TV viewing area is eligible to enter.

KOLO-TV employees and their families are not eligible to enter

The final judging of The Education to Escape $1,000 Giveaway will be made by a panel of independent educators and environmental experts.

Projects will be judged on environmental relevance, originality and feasibility. The decision of the judging panel is final.

Deadline for entries is May 9, 2008.

The winner will be announced during a KOLO-TV newscast on May 11, 2008.
