The following is a list of organizations that are raising funds to help the victims of the Fenley Levee Break.

The Northern Nevada Chapter of the American Red Cross

Community Foundation of Western Nevada

The Salvation Army is accepting donations. Checks should be made payable to The Salvation Army with Fernley Flood Assistance on the memo line. Physical items, such as food, household goods and clothing will be accepted, but can not be designated for flood victims only. Physical donations may be dropped off at The Salvation Army’s Reno distribution center, 2300 Valley Road, from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

  • All proceeds will go to the flood victims in Fernley

Route 66 is a group of seven local musicians who have combined their talents to produce rich vocal harmonies and clean, balanced instrumentation. They love to play the music of the fabulous 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. Come out for a fantastic concert and an opportunity to help out our ”Friends in Fernley”.

To all of you in Fernley I am so sorry for all that has happened to you because of the flood, I am so lucky I rented a house on shadow mountain drive and I just moved back to Calif @ 5 months ago I would of lost everything also, I saw the news where a couple said they were renting and no one was gonna help them to replace a lot of things they lost, I spoke to a friend of mine in fernley and he said their is help for renters also just talk to the red cross, I wish I could be there to help with the clean up, I pray for you all everyday, I think of my friends and neighbors, ADAM, LELA, LIZ, COLEEN,LORI, SCOTT, CAROL, BARNEY, DUECE & DEBBIE. I pray everyday for all of you so keep your chins up & I wish I could be there to help you. I'm wondering if the things from the flooded homes in Fernley are going to be recycled? There looks to be a lot of things going in the landfills.
