Updated: 6:39 PM - Unseasonably warm and dry conditions will continue under a strong ridge of high pressure through Saturday. Friday and Saturday high temperatures will threaten records in many spots. By Saturday afternoon, wind and clouds will increase, as a system in the Pacific Northwest drags a weak cold front through the region. While it won't mean much cooling, we will see temperatures back away for records for a few days. The next decent chance of precipitation will not come until the middle of next week, when the same system that brought rain last weekend could drift back into the region again from the south. -Jeff
