Under a cold trough of low pressure, Saturday temperatures will be well below average, with scattered rain and snow showers. Expect winter driving conditions and road controls in the Sierra. By Sunday, the cold trough will lift out, allowing temperatures to warm back to around late-April averages and skies to clear.
