Pedestrian Killed by Citifare Bus Identified

Updated: 03/13/2007 - A man struck and killed by a Citifare bus was identified Tuesday as an 88-year-old Reno man. Rex Hulsey, who walked with a cane, was in a crosswalk on Lake Street when he was hit by the bus Sunday afternoon near downtown, police said. He was not carrying any identification.

Record Breaking Weather

Updated: 03/13/2007 - Northern Nevadans are basking in sunshine and warm temperatures. Record highs fell across Nevada Monday, including one that stood for more than a century in Reno where the mercury topped out at 80 degrees. A year ago on the same date, the high in Reno was 34 degrees and it was snowing.
