RENO, Nev. -- A shopper trying to cross the street on Seventh St. near McCarran Friday night was hit and knocked down by one car then a second car ran her over. She did not survive.
It happened around 6pm just north of the Walmart on Seventh in northwest Reno. A Reno Police spokesman says the woman was not in a crosswalk and she was wearing dark colored clothing. At this point in the investigation, neither driver is being cited. The woman was in her 70s; her name is being withheld until notification of her family.
