RENO, NV - Reno police have a man in custody they say was involved in a stabbing outside Reno's homeless campus on Record Street Tuesday afternoon.

Police say the stabbing happened on city streets, ouside the gates, about 4:45PM. A man was stabbed in the neck and was taken to a hospital to be treated for what police say are non-life-threatening wounds. His name hasn't been released.

Police arrested 39-year-old Damien Rivero nearby a short time later. Sergeant Dave Macaulay says Rivera admitted the stabbing, but police haven't established the motive.
