Woman Hurt in Stabbing During Break-In

RENO, NV - A Reno woman is being treated for stab wounds she got when a man forced his way into her apartment Friday morning.

Shortly before noon, police responded to an apartment building in the 100 block of Washington Street, told about a stabbing. Investigators learned a man broke into a woman's apartment, apparently to rob her. They struggled and she received several non-life-threatening stab wounds. The attacker and two other people ran off before police got there.

Police are looking for a white man in his late 40s, about 5'11" with a thin build. He was balding with short hair and had an unshaven face. He was wearing a blue flannel jacket. The second man is white and in his 50s, about 5'6" and balding with a mustache and short beard. He was wearing a black sweater and gray shirt. The third person is a white woman in her 50s, about 5'10' with medium brown shoulder-length hair. She was wearing a white coat and brown pants.
