RENO, NV - A Reno woman is facing felony charges for allegedly hitting a man with her SUV and leaving him in the street. 40-year-old Myree Townsend has been charged with hit-and-run causing substantial bodily injury.
It was May 8th when Townsend allegedly hit 25-year-old Gabe Kennedy while he was skateboarding on Wilbur May Parkway in south Reno. He had to have his right leg amputated below the knee. At last check, he was still in the ICU.
Townsend turned herself in on May 21st. She was officially charged June 24th.
