Woman Charged With Trying to Kill Husband in Cold Springs

COLD SPRINGS, NV - The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information to help the investigation into an apparent attempted murder.

Washoe County sheriff's detectives say it happened about 8:30AM Tuesday, April 15, 2014 in the area of Georgetown Drive and Village Parkway in Cold Springs.

According to sheriff’s deputies, 55-year-old Edden Gonzales-Baer is suspected of attacking her husband while driving in a red van on Village Parkway. Both got out of the van and the fight continued into the street before witnesses called the Sheriff’s Office. Gonzales-Baer drove off in a different vehicle, but was arrested later in Reno. She is charged with attempted murder and battery with a deadly weapon.

Her husband is not seriously hurt.
