Rivals.com is reporting that Wolf Pack football recruit Kevin Nutt has de-committed from Nevada and given his verbal commitment to play at Colorado State.
It's been a strange recruiting process with Nutt, a running back from Edison high school in Fresno.
He originally committed to play for Nevada last year, then re-opened his recruiting in mid December. He made a visit to Colorado State a few days later, then re-affirmed his commitment to Nevada.
He reportedly has changed his mind once again.
"I just felt better around the coaches from Colorado State than I did Nevada," Nutt told Mike Brohard of Buffzone.com. "Coach (Tim) Skipper, he was just giving me positive feedback. We just clicked. It was like we were related. We were just clicking."
Nutt was expected to play cornerback at Nevada. He'll also play in the defensive backfield with the Rams.
