Witnesses Sought in Motorcycle Fatality on US 395 and Glendale
Troopers from the Major Accident Investigation Team are still investigating the crash that killed a Sun Valley man last Friday afternoon on US 395 near the Glendale interchange.

RENO, NV - Troopers from the Major Accident Investigation Team are still investigating the crash that killed a Sun Valley man last Friday afternoon on US 395 near the Glendale interchange.
Investigators would like anyone who may have noticed the driving pattern of either the black 2010 Nissan Versa 4-door sedan or the burgundy Kawasaki motorcycle in this crash to call them.
It happened Fri., May 6, both vehicles were heading southbound on US 395 around 1 p.m. when they collided as the driver of the Nissan was making a lane change. The impact of the Nissan forced the motorcyclist toward the Glendale off ramp and slam into the exit sign. He died soon after.
Although NHP had several people stop to render aid immediately after the accident happened, they did not have anyone stop to fill out a witness statement.
Deputies are asking those recalling anything at all are encouraged to contact either Trooper Mike Gocke or Trooper Robert Haigney at (775) 689-4682, or the Department of Public Safety-Communications Center @ (775) 687-0400, regarding case number NHP-1105060789.
