SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) - Passengers say they had to tackle a passenger who was allegedly behaving aggressively and grabbing women during a flight from Chicago to Orange County's John Wayne Airport.
The Orange County Register reports (http://bit.ly/PpQ38x ) 26-year-old passenger Arash Durrani was taken into custody Tuesday night after passengers restrained him with a belt to stop him from scaring passengers on United Flight 473.
FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller says Durrani will be charged with a federal offense for interference with a flight crew.
Passenger David Truong told the newspaper about 45 minutes into the flight Durrani began pacing around the plane, inappropriately grabbing women and harassing people.
Truong says when the man started scaring children on the plane, he and three other passengers physically restrained him.
