RENO, NV - Waste Management has scheduled a job fair for about ten drivers-in-training in the Reno area.
Here's the job description:
The Driver in Training position will be paired with a seasoned Waste Management driver. They will be trained to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle to pick up refuse and/or recycling on residential routes. The Driver in Training will continue in this role until there is an open position for which they qualify and are assigned as a full driver. This is an entry-level position. Applicants must be 21 years or older, able to speak and read English well enough to converse with the general public, a high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred and this position requires at minimum a temporary permit for commercial
drivers license A or B (CDL) with airbrakes endorsement valid in Nevada.
The job fair is Wednesday, July 11, from 9AM-5PM, at JobConnect, at 1675 E. Prater Way #103 in Sparks.
