From KOLO 8 Weather Now... The National Weather Service in Reno has issued a Wind Advisory. A wind advisory will be in effect from 8 AM until 11 PM on Thursday.

Washoe Fire Forces RTC Bus Route Detour
Due to the Washoe Valley fire and closure of US 395, RTC INTERCITY service isoperating on a detour through Fernley and Silver Springs.

RENO, NV- Due to the Washoe Valley fire and closure of US 395, RTC INTERCITY service isoperating on a detour through Fernley and Silver Springs.

From RTC 4th Street Station in downtown Reno, southbound buses will travel to Carson City via I-80 to Fernley, U.S. 95 to Silver Springs, and U.S. 50 through Dayton to Carson City. Northbound buses operating between Carson City and Reno will travel in the opposite direction.

Expect delays of one to two hours.
