RENO, Nev. -- Deputies with the Washoe County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) are looking into the death of a man at Sand Harbor.
It happened shortly after noon Saturday, August 3rd. WCSO Sgt. Chris Banks says the man was found unresponsive in the water. He was taken to shore where emergency workers tried to revive him. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital in Incline Village.
Officials are looking into what may have caused the man to become unresponsive while he was in the water. A WCSO press release states there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances related to the death.
