Reno Police say a pedestrian did not suffer serious injuries after being hit by a Washoe County School District bus. The accident happened at the intersection of Wrondel and Gentry Way at around 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Officials say the bus driver was turning west on Gentry when the pedestrian stepped off the curb and into the crosswalk. The bus struck the pedestrian in the arm before the driver noticed her and stopped. Police say REMSA checked on the pedestrian but did not transport her to the hospital after declining medical attention. One child was onboard the bus but was unhurt in the accident. The driver was cited on-scene.
