VIRGINIA CITY, NV - Virginia City is literally "going nuts" as they celebrate St. Patrick's Day on Saturday, March 15, 2014.

An official with the event says more than 20 chefs will compete in the 23rd annual Rocky Mountain Oyster Fry, a popular tasting contest in Northern Nevada.

The chefs will serve dishes of tasty testes to the public all day long in the hopes of winning fame and glory in this contest, according to the event official.

In addition to this Irish tasting competition, there will be a beer garden, live Irish music, and the Leprechaun Bar Crawl, says the event official.

People can also enjoy the Virginia City St. Patrick's Day Parade at noon. The parade will float down C Street and will feature the Minden Irish Dancers, the Giant Leprechaun's of Fresno, and more, says the event official.
