RENO, NV - He's been treating your dogs and cats for 48 years, but everybody has to retire sometime.
Dr. Judson Pierce and his Reno Animal Hospital have been a fixture in west Reno as long as most of us can remember. Last Friday was his last day, and he hasn't been able to find a doctor to take over his practice, which used to include giving veterinary advice on our radio partner, KOH.
We'll check in with him this week to hear some of his stories. In the meantime, he says there are lots of great vets in town, including Community Animal Hospital, which has all his patient files.
