National Auto Museum to Reopen After Fire

The museum will reopen Wednesday, July 2 at 9AM.


RENO, NV - The Reno Fire Department says a vehicle caught fire overnight at the National Automobile Museum. Officials told KOLO 8 News now the fire started around 2:30 Friday morning, June 20.

The museum director tells us the damaged vehicle is an Ed Roth Custom Trike and the fire started in the lobby. Only one vehicle was damaged.

Timothy Gray was arrested in connection with several arson fires in Reno, including that at the museum.

No injuries were reported.

The museum is closed until further notice to allow for cleanup.
