Traffic flow has returned to normal eastbound on I-80 near the Wells Avenue exit after a vehicle had struck a mattress laying on the freeway. The incident occurred just before 7 p.m. Wednesday, temporarily reducing eastbound traffic to two lanes in the vicinity of the Wells exit.
