TRUCKEE, CA - US Forest Service officials say the Boca Fire has been fully contained. Fire crews drew water from the nearby Boca Reservoir to fight the fire and are keeping an eye out for any hot spots.

There is no word what may have caused the fire that broke out Monday afternoon west of Reno.

The fire burned about 84 acres in the area of Hirschdale near I-80. No structures were lost or threatened.

I-80 was open for normal traffic throughout the firefight. Numerous agencies worked the fire, including North Tahoe Fire, Cal Fire, US Forest Service, and Squaw Valley Fire.
