LAS VEGAS - UNLV senior running back Tim Cornett has been downgraded to doubtful for their game against Nevada this weekend.

Cornett injured his right knee last weekend in their loss to Fresno State. He set the school's all-time career rushing record before leaving the game with the injury.

Cornett has run for a Rebels' record 3,158 yards during his four seasons at UNLV. He was averaging 5.3 yards per carry this year, running for 709 yards and nine touchdowns.

Junior Shaquille Murray-Lawrence is expected to start at running back in place of Cornett on Saturday in Reno. Murray-Lawrence is averaging a gaudy 9.7 yards per carry, running for 357 yards on 37 carries with a pair of TDs.
