SPARKS, NV - Two people were arrested for stealing in a Scheel's parking lot. On Monday, Scheel's loss prevention agents saw a man looking into vehicles in the parking lot and watched as the same man took a new child's toy from the back of an open pick up truck. Around the same time, a female took clothes from inside the store.
According to Sparks police, officers were called to the shoplifting in progress and found Bradley Glewwe, 33, and Dawn Quigley, 29, in the parking lot. Glewwe gave police a fake name and when officers found out his real identity, they saw he had warrants for his arrest. Scheel's loss prevention agents told police that Glewwe was the man who stole the toy from the back of the truck. They also identified Quigley, as the person who stole clothing from the store.
Quigley was charged with possession of stolen property, conspiracy, possession of a hypodermic device, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail is $4,500.
Glewwe was charged with the same crimes and for his outstanding warrants and several traffic related charges. His bail is $6,000.
Officers ended up finding the owner of the child's toy that was stolen and gave it back to them.
