MIAMI (AP) - One of the first officers on the scene of a bus crash at Miami's airport says most of the passengers he helped remained calm despite the bloody scene.
Osvaldo Lopez is an officer with Miami-Dade aviation. He says he first heard a loud noise Saturday morning and was certain it was some sort of car wreck.
He says he went inside the bus to help and found several passengers thrown into the center aisle. He says many of the passengers were elderly. He says they remained calm after the wreck.
Two people were killed and three were in critical condition after the bus hit the concrete overpass. The other 27 passengers on board had less serious injuries.
Meanwhile, investigators are interviewing the driver, who they say was not familiar with the area.
