SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA - Two homes burned off Pioneer Trail Tuesday night, near Edna and Ralph in South Lake Tahoe.
The cause of the fire is believed to be a downed power line. The fire did move into the forest, but officials worked quickly to keep it from spreading much past the houses.
One man, the resident of one home, is being treated for burns he receieved while trying to fight the fire with a garden hose.
Several fire and police agencies worked together to fight the fire and keep its spread minimal.
