RENO, NV - Reno police have arrested two people in connection with a string of burglaries of homes and vehicles.

Over the past several months, members from the Reno Police Department Crime Suppression Team (CST) and burglary detectives have been conducting operations in northwest Reno and in the Stead area after an increase in vehicle and residential burglaries. That led to information about two suspects.
July 1, 2014, a warrant was issued for a home on Fleetwood Drive in Lemmon Valley from the information obtained through their investigation. Upon searching the Fleetwood Drive residence, Reno police say they found stolen ID’s, checkbooks, laptops, cameras and other miscellaneous electronics, as well as two stolen firearms linked to other burglaries in Washoe County.

Police contacted two men at the home, and police say they admitted to committing numerous vehicle and residential burglaries throughout Reno, Sparks and Washoe County. 19-year-old Jonathon Devencenzi and 18-year-old Quentin Russell are charged with several counts of Burglary and two counts each of Larceny of a Firearm.

The investigation is ongoing, and police say they expect more arrests. Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to contact the Reno Police Department at (775) 334-4762 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900.
