Tribal Police Say Man Died of Natural Causes, Exposure

UPDATE: RENO, NV--The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony Tribal Police say the 45-year-old man who was found dead Thursday died of natural causes and exposure.

The man who died has been identified as Michael Cory Slattery. According to the agency, Slattery does not have an address in the area.

His mother, who lives in Reno, has been notified.

RENO, NV - The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony Tribal Police are investigating a case involving the discovery of a body near the former Police Station at 98 Colony Road.

RSIC Chief of Police Darrell Bill says the body is a white male around the age of 40.

The cause of death is not yet known, however, officials say they are not looking for a suspect.

The Tribal Police are being assisted by the FBI and the Washoe County Sheriff's Office, according to an RSIC official.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
