Traffic Fatalities in Nevada Show Downward Trend

CARSON CITY, NV - Traffic fatalities in Nevada have declined minimally within the past year.

According to the Nevada Department of Public Safety, traffic fatalities decreased from 262 deaths in 2012 to 259 in 2013.

In Washoe County, there were 19 traffic fatalities in 2013, compared to 32 fatalities in 2012, according to the Nevada Department of Public Safety.

Officials say the annual traffic fatalities for Nevada show a downward trend, with the all-time high of 432 in 2006.
