FERNLEY, NV - Three people have been arrested and one more may be as the investigation unfolds into a stabbing in Fernley.
The Lyon County Sheriff's Office says Monday afternoon, deputies found 37-year-old Matthew Montgomery with a stab wound in his stomach, lying on a lawn. He was alert and talking with deputies, who say his wound appears non-life-threatening. He was taken to Renown in Reno.
Several hours later, the knife used in the stabbing was found, and detectives say the victim and three other people have a history of attacking each other with weapons, and damaging vehicles.
In custody are 26-year-old Eric Rabillo, 30-year-old Mark Rabillo, and 34-year-old Richard Montgomery, all of Fernley. The victim may also face charges when he is released from the hospital.
