Three Arrested in South Lake Tahoe Drug Bust

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA - Three Sacramento residents are in jail in South Lake Tahoe after a traffic stop Monday afternoon.

A police officer stopped Andrew Callison, AKA Brian Morris, who was allegedly driving on the wrong side of the road near Pioneer Trail. The officer says there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car, and Morris claimed to have no identification with him and gave a false date of birth when the officer checked his driver's license status.

The officer says Callison tried to reach for a loaded handgun under the driver's seat, and next to the gun was 28 grams of methamphetamine and five grams of marijuana.

Callison was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with a loaded firearm, possession of a firearm with a prior violent offense, prohibited person possessing ammunition, concealed weapon inside a vehicle, transporting a controlled substance, driving while under the influence, providing false information to a peace officer, resisting arrest and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Passengers Jeremy Watkins and Michaelann Campbell were arrested for conspiracy to commit a felony and transporting a controlled substance.
