Three Arrested in Connection With Incline Arson

INCLINE VILLAGE, NV - An Incline Village man and two juveniles have been arrested in connection with an arson fire near the Raley's supermarket in Incline Village.

The arson and graffiti were reported Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the La Casona building next to the store on Tahoe Boulevard. Fire damage to the building was minimal, according to investigators.

20-year-old Ramon Mendoza Valdez was identified as a suspect once arson was suspected, and Washoe County sheriff's investigators worked with the North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District to track and arrest him.

Valdez was arrested the next day, and has been charged with two counts of Arson in the First Degree and one count of Arson in the Third Degree along with charges of Graffiti and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. He is being held in the Washoe County Detention Facility.

The names of the juveniles haven't been released.
