VIRGINIA CITY, NV - Washoe County Sheriff's Office detectives have arrested a third man in connection with a string of home burglaries in Virginia City.

On Sunday, January 15, at approximately 6:30 PM, detectives contacted Robert Jake Allen, a 20-year-old Sun Valley man, in the 5200 block of Carol Drive.

Allen was arrested, transported and booked into the Washoe County Sheriff's Office Detention Facility on one count of unlawful use of a credit card and two no bail probation violation charges.

No further stolen items were recovered.

This investigation is ongoing. Further information will be released as this investigation unfolds.

Detectives are reporting that three firearms (1 pistol, 1 rifle and 1 shotgun) remain outstanding, as well as several bows and knives.

That is interesting Mike. Why would the mother of a known thief buy her son a truck, and his brother loan him money to buy his girlfriend a camero?? Who would reward their son for stealing by buying them a new truck. I find it really funny that is brother would loan him money, since Jake doesnt not have a job to repay his brother. Kind of strange how all this happened right after the burglary. It seems to me that the Allen family are the snitches here too. How else would a convicted felon get out of jail on burglary charges with he is still on probation and is known for being a drug addict and for running from the cops?

Well one thing I think all of you should know since you people would like to make it your business the car and truck he bought were not bought with stolen money his mom bought him the truck and he barrowed the money from his brother for the car so maybe everyone should keep there rat mouths shut if they don't know or are going to make stuff up and it sounds like this valley girl is snitch and she is just trying to make it look better for one of the suspects

Salina, you are one to talk about them not being liars, thieves, or dopers, considering you are one yourself. It appears to me that you may have significant insecurities about yourself as well. Notice the correct spelling of: liars, theives significant, insecurities and stealers is not a even a word.
