Franklin High School quarterback Baylor Romney has given his verbal commitment to play at Nevada in 2015.

Romney confirmed it on his Twitter page, posting "Wolf Pack it is" and posting a photo of the Nevada's logo. He also changed his personal info to read "2015 University of Nevada football commit."

Romney passed for 835 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior at Franklin, in El Paso, Texas. He also ran for 396 yards and six TD's, averaging 11.3 yards per carry.

The 6-foot-2, 185 pound QB was also being recruited by a handful of schools, including BYU, Oregon, New Mexico State and UTEP.

Romney is the eighth recruit from the 2015 recruiting class to verbally commit to Nevada. His commitment is not binding, and won't be official until he signs in February.
