A teenager is safe after rolling her SUV on South McCarran Boulevard just before 7:30 Monday night.
Reno Police tell us the 16 year old was headed westbound, between Greensboro Drive and Manzanita Lane. She somehow veered off the road at Belsera. In trying to right herself the teen overcorrected, spun, went up the northern embankment along McCarran, rolled her Chevy TrailBlazer and landed on the passenger side.
Amazingly, the teen only had minor injuries thanks to her seat belt. In fact, police tell us her seat belt worked so well, the teen was suspended in her seat as she called 911.
Investigators tell us neither speed nor alcohol were factors in this accident.
