RENO, NV - Swope Middle School was put on precautionary lockdown Friday morning after reports of a suspicious man in the neighborhood with a gun.
Someone called 911 after seeing a man in the area with what they thought was a gun in a holster in his jacket. Reno Police and School Police responded. That gun turned out to be a radio on the man's hip.
A spokesperson for the Washoe County School District tells us there was no direct threat to the school.
